We believe a student’s college search begins with self reflection and an awareness of their strengths, as they discover their own unique path and identity. Our goal is to help all students ultimately find a college where they will thrive academically and socially.
holistic
The high school years are a time for independence and exploration; each student is more than a GPA or test score. We believe in a holistic approach that starts with self-reflection as students begin to recognize their strengths and unique identity. We help students break down the necessary steps so the process is manageable and organized, identifying colleges that align with their interests, goals, and values.
collaborative
College admissions is constantly evolving. Although we guide students individually, the diverse experience we bring to our collaborative advising model is distinctive. We participate in ongoing professional development, attend webinars and conferences and visit campuses throughout the country each year, bringing current knowledge and informed perspectives to our work. Compassion, humor, and common sense are present in all aspects of our business.
authentic
As professionals, we abide by the ethical guidelines of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and the Western Association of College Admissions Counseling (WACAC). We use HECA's Standards and Ethics Statement and NACAC's Guide to Ethical Practice in College Admission to guide our work. We take pride in being authentic and transparent as we guide each student to discover their genuine voice in essays and applications.
